Applications of Brnsted acidic ionic liquids in organic synthesis

The applications of Brnsted acidic ionic liquids(BAILs)have made great strides in recent years.This paper focuses on the progress of the applications of BAILs as efficient,environmentally-friendly catalysts and solvents for esterification,condensation reaction,the Biginelli reaction,and dimerization in organic synthesis.
