Study on the Preparation of Polybutylene Terephthalate Melt-Blown Nonwovens for Filters

The high melt flow index polybutylene terephthalate(PBT) melt-blown nonwovens for filters were produced.The effects of process parameters,including air pressure,die-collector distance,pump feed and so on,on the properties of the products were discussed.The results showed that the process parameters had a great influence accordingly on the shape and structure of the PBT fiber and fiber diameter,surface density,break force and pore size of PBT melt-blown nonwovens.
