Nonlinear normal forms for driftless control systems

For control affine systems without drift we discuss nonlinear normal forms, in particular nilpotent and chained systems. The known results are reviewed and necessary and sufficient conditions for feedback equivalence of a driftless system with 5 states and 2 inputs with a two-chained system is given.>
