The magnetic materials with design customization are high in demand for sensors applications. The 3D printing which is also known as additive manufacturing is one of the most advance manufacturing techniques that can be used for the preparation of sensors with customized design. The previous studies have outlined that ZnO is one of the excellent semiconductors materials with the good range of optical, electrical, magnetic, antimicrobial and thermal properties. The Co doping in the ZnO has been reported for the tuning of the magnetic and optical properties. Some of the studies have been suggested that the reinforcement of the ZnO in PVDF matrix for the preparation of the magnetic sensors. But the Co doped Zno reinforced with the PVDF matrix can be useful for the preparation of magnetic sensors. The present study is the state of art review for the preparation of PVDF composites reinforced with Co doped ZnO for 3D printing of magnetic sensors.
