The correlation of annealing time of a (Zr65Cu20Fe5Al10)94Nb6 bulk metallic glass (BMG) with its plasticity, chemical fluctuation and the change of structure has been studied in this work. The research indicates that the plasticity increases initially and then decreases as the isothermal annealing time increased. After 30 min of the isothermal annealing, the plasticity of the (Zr65Cu20Fe5Al10)94Nb6 BMG can be increased to 17.3%. The structure and chemical composition of the as-cast (Zr65Cu20Fe5Al10)94Nb6 BMG are homogeneous, and short-range icosahedral clusters are the main structure of the as-cast. However, there is a chemical heterogeneity of the Cu-rich area after annealing, and a variety of medium-range clusters can be found in the annealed (Zr65Cu20Fe5Al10)94Nb6 BMG.
