Observation on120 cases of resecting tonsils by the hemostasis forceps

Objective To study the operation method and effect on the hemostasis forceps to resect tonsils. Methods 240 cases were randomly divided into treatment group and comparison group.The patients in treatment group were resected tonsils by the hemostasis forceps,and the patients in comparison group by the tonsil separator. Results The bleeding between the treatment and the comparison groups had significant difference(P0.01),and the reaction to operation in the treatment group was less than in that of the comparison group. Conclusions The treatment with hemostasis forceps to remove tonsils is a better method than tradition method.
