Progress of Application of Electrically Conductive Fillers Used in Conductive Rubber

The progress of application of electrically conductive fillers used in conductive rubber is introduced in this paper.The common type of conductive fillers such as black carbon,metal and metal-coated pellet is discussed in this paper.The black carbon type is the major fillers used in conductive rubber composites,but limits to black composites because of itself black color.Also metal,metal-coated pellet types conductive fillers have some limits because of their high density.The new electrically conductive filler namely intrinsic conducting polymers especially polyaniline,used in conductive rubber,is also discussed in this paper.The intrinsic conducting polymer used as conductive fillers is the new aspects for the conducting composites,and could solve the problem of poor distribution in polymer caused by unsolvability and unmelting.
