Incorporation of BSA with Magnetic Chitosan-Poly(acrylic acid) Microspheres

The ability of magnetic chitosan-poly(acrylic acid)(CS)-(PAA)microspheres to incorporate Bovine Serum Albumin(BSA)was studied,and the influencing conditions were discussed.The results showed that the best synthesis conditions are 20% AA(10 mL),25% glutaraldehyde(4 mL),cross-linking time(30 min),low stirring speed(r 1000 r/min).The BSA incorporation is affected by the values of pH,ionic intensity,temperature and original concentration of BSA.The incorporation quantity can reach 400 mg/g in the pH = 4.6 phosphate buffer solution(T = 37℃).
