Dynamics research of air suspension for heavy vehicles

摘要
In this paper, a virtual prototype of air suspension for heavy vehicles is established by using Unigraphics. Using a double mass system a simplified model for air suspension is constructed in ADAMS/VIEW, optimization goals for improving both ride comfort and road-friendliness of heavy vehicles are determined. Simulation analysis using ADAMS shows that the vertical acceleration of the vehicle body and the dynamic wheel loads are reduced effectively after the suspension is optimized.
