Temperature effects on the aggregation of decylpyridinium chloride in aqueous solution

Surface tension and conductivity measurements were used to study micelle formation in an aqueous solution of decylpyridinium chloride at 20, 25, 30, 35, and 40°C. The critical micelle concentration (CMC) was minimum at about 30–35°C. After CMC 1 , aggregation with CMC 2 and CMC 3 occurred as the concentration increased.
