Electrical surface properties of nanoporous alumina membranes: influence of nanochannels’ curvature, roughness and composition studied via electrokinetic experiments

The combination of several electrokinetic techniques on different surfaces of AAO membranes reveals differences in IEPs that presumably originate from the variation of the coordination number of aluminum atoms depending on the probed surface.
