Thermoacoustic engine and cooler are very attractive devices because they potentially have environmental friendliness, high reliability, and high efficiency. In this presentation, I will introduce the thermoacoustic engine and cooler, explain their basic working-mechanism, and show the recent topics on thermoacoustics.
