Progress in Development of Methanation Catalysts Used for Production of Synthetic Natural Gas from Coal

Recent progresses in development of methanation catalysts used for production of synthetic natural gas from coal are summarized and briefly reviewed,and a co-precipitation type of highly efficient Ni-ZrO2 based catalyst developed recently by us for co-methanation of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide to produce synthetic natural gas was reported.
