Effect of Addition of Heavy Rare Earth Oxides on Catalytic Activity of Pd Catalyst

Influence of heavy rare earth oxides on the activity of Pd catalyst has been discussed in this article.The test indicates that the activity of Pd catalyst for the oxidization of carbon monoxides increased by adding heavy rare earth oxides,especially Yb2O3.The oxidation temperature of the Pd catalyst with Yb2O3 decreased as compared with Pd catalyst without Y2O3.
