Optimization on the Spatial Structure of the Metropolitan Area and Rail Transportation

Facing the problems of high-speed urbanization and motorization in the process of urban development,the urban structure with traditional ultra-high dendity but solo-centre is changing now and how to build a public communication oriented space constructure in metropolis to promote the sustainable development is becoming the focus of urban planning.Lessons can be drawed from the metro construction and urban development of cities around the world.Due to the particularity of urban development,it is necessary to summarize the pattern of unban development of our country.This paper takes Shanghai as an example,makes studies on such aspects as rail transportation and city center,land use of the areas around the station,people's response towards taking public transportation,and the impact to the price of the houses around the stops and stations,and put forward some strategies and suggestions for the optimization of the special structure of the metropolitan area and the rail transportation.
