Progress on Antigens and Vaccines of Neospora

Neosporosis is a protozoal disease caused Neospora caninumin cattle,sheep,dogs and other animals.Neospora caninum parasitized in the hosts can lead to abortion or stillborn of pregnant animals,neonatal motor nerve disorders and nervous system diseases and bring great economic losses to livestock.In recent years,the effectiveness of Neospora antigen protein in the parasite immunity research becomes a focus of the study in immune neosporosis.Neospora caninumantigen proteins play an important role in Neospora caninumvaccine of the study.Currently,there is no report about preventive Neosporavaccine in the market.The research progresses on the antigen proteins and vaccines of Neospora caninum were reviewed in the paper and provided the theoretical basis for the development of vaccine and corresponding products in the future.
