New Management Technologies for Manufacturing Industry——Product Lifecycle Management

The collaborative product lifecycle is a necessary condition for manufacturing Industry. Firstly, the concepts of product lifecycle and product lifecycle management are discussed. Then, based on the analyzed factors on every stage in product lifecycle, the contents of product lifecycle management system are introduced and the initial theoretical framework of product lifecycle management is established. The studies of product lifecycle management must be speeded in China according to the status that the technologies of product lifecycle management are investigated and applied.
