Study on the Synthesis and Application of Polyurethane Acrylate Prepolymer

An important UV-curing material,polyurethane acrylate prepolymer was synthesized with polyether glycol,diisocyanate and hydroxypropyl acrylate.The synthesis principle and method were introduced in detail.Some factors which influenced the synthesis process such as temperature,catalyst content and reaction time were discussed.The properties and application of polyurethane acrylate prepolymer were also introduced briefly.The results show that the optimum conditions for synthesis process are as follows: the reaction time for the first step is 4h at 60~70℃ and 3h at 80~85℃ for the second step,the catalyst content is 0.2%.This prepolymer can be applied in coating,printing ink and adhesive etc.
