Diketopiperazines from marine-derived Exserohilum sp. M1-6

A new diketopiperazine (1) and 11 known compounds (2–12) were isolated from marine-derived Exserohilum sp. M1-6. The structure and the absolute configuration of compound 1 were determined by NMR, HRESIMS and electronic circular dichroism (ECD) data. The pro-angiogenic activity of compounds 2–12 were evaluated on the basis of a zebrafish model. The results showed that compounds 3, 11 and 12 had pro-angiogenic activity at a concentration of 40 μM.
