Abstract The large hydrostatic rotary table is a key functional component used in fields such as precision machining and large-scale heavy-duty machining, featuring high precision and high load-bearing capacity. Due to its large structural size, its overall structure is significantly affected by changes in ambient temperature, and thermal deformation will seriously impact the machining accuracy of the machine tool, leading to a decline in product quality; in severe cases, it may even increase the safety risks of the processed products. This paper establishes a finite element model of the large hydrostatic rotary table, conducts steady-state thermal analysis on it using Ansys, obtains the temperature field and deformation field of the rotary table during operation, and analyzes the influence of different ambient temperatures on its temperature field and deformation field. This simulation analysis has certain guiding significance for improving the machining accuracy of machine tools.
