The effects of the amounts of PDM and sulfur on the properties of CM/NR blends with peroxide-PDM and peroxide-sulfur curing system were investigated respectively.The results showed that with the peroxide-PDM curing system,the vulcanization time(t90) and the degree of vulcanization(MH-ML) increased and the relaxation time(t10) became much shorter with increasing the amount of PDM.When the amount of PDM was 0.5~1.5 phr,the blends had better mechanical properties.While the relaxation time(t10) and vulcanization time(t90) of CM/NR blends declined as the content of sulfur increased with the peroxide-sulfur curing system.After adding the content of sulfur in 0.5~1.5 phr,CM/NR blends reached better mechanical properties.
