Comparison of convergence rate in iterative methods

On the basis of the convergence of iterative methods,the convergence of Newton iterative method and the convergence of secant method are introduced,and a comparison is made of the convergence rate in basic iteraive methods,Newton iterative and method secant method.It is found that for the same problem,the convergence rate of secant method is much faster than that of common iterative methods,and the former is similar to that of Newton iterative method.In today's world where computer is used as calculator,the converergence rate of number calculation must be worked out.An important standard to judge whether an iterative method is applicable is how fast the convergence rate is.SO,it becomes very important to use what method to solve practical problems.
