The effect of Galla on the keloid model in nude mice

Objective To investigate the significance and the influence of Galla on keloid model in nude mice.Methods We investigated the expression of the mRNA of the precollegen Ⅰ,Ⅲ of the fibroblast by using the technology of hybridization in situ of the cDNA probe,the expressions of PCNA and apoptosis of the fibroblast by immunohistochemical technique and TUNEL respectively by Galla on keloid model in nude mice.Electron microscope(EM)is imployed to study the ultrastructure changes in fibroblast.Results The expression of the mRNA of the precollegen Ⅰ,Ⅲ of the fibroblast reduced compared with control group after treating by Galla.The expression of PCNA positive cell decreased,whereas TUNEL positive cell increased.And Galla also affected the ultrastructure of fibroblast.Conclusions It was found that Galla could inhibit the expression of the mRNA of the precollegen Ⅰ,Ⅲ and the proliferation of the keloid fibroblast,meanwhile quicken the apoptosis of fibroblasts.Therefore Galla could inhibit proliferation of fibroblastof keloid which provide theoretical evidence for doctors to treat keloid.
