Research and progress of anode substrate layer for direct methanol fuel cells

Anode substrate layer is a core part of membrane electrode assembly for direct methanol fuel cells and plays an important role in supporting the gas diffusion layer and catalyst layer,transporting gas and reactants.In this paper,the materials,compositions,structures and present researches of anode substrate layer were reviewed.The character in different materials,structures and shortcomings of these studies for fuel cells were described.The development trends of anode substrate layer were proposed.
