The structure and Curie temperature of ErFe11-xCrxTi(x=0,0.5,1.0,1.5,2.0,2.5,3.0) compounds have been investigated by means of X-ray diffraction and magnetization measurement. The compounds all crystallize in the ThMn12-type structure. The substitution of Cr for Fe leads to monotonic decreases of the unit-cell volume and the lattice constant c.The lattice constant a shows a complicated behavior with increasing x.These may result from the preferential occupation of Cr.Magnetization measurement shows that the Curie temperature TC of ErFe11-xCrxTi compounds decreases monotonously with increasing x.This may be due to the preferential occupation of Cr in the ErFe11-xCrxTi compounds and the decrease of the Fe-Fe interaction which results from the substitution of Cr for Fe.
