The Differences and Similarities of Traditional Intelligence and Emotional Intelligence

Emotional intelligence has been a research topic in the past 20 years,which gave rise to a problem that whether emotional intelligence is intelligence and whether it is differentiated from traditional intelligence.The problem is related to traditional intelligence and emotional intelligence as well as what is the difference in these two areas.The author thinks the emotional intelligence is a supplement to traditional intelligence,the traditional intelligence focus on language,logic and other cognitive processing while emotional intelligence focuses on the processing of emotional information.The link between the two is that both contain a cognitive component.
