A series crease resistant waterborne polyurethane finishing agents were synthesized using hexamethylene diisocyanate(HDI),toluene diisocyanate(TDI),poly 1,4-butylene adipate(PBA),polypropylene oxide glycol(PPG),dimethylolpropionic acid(DMPA) and N-methyl diethanolamine(N-MDEA) as main materials.The effects of the finishing agent concentration,isocyanate structure,ion nature of polyurethane emulsion and polyol structure on finishing were discussed.The results showed that the elastic recovery angle increased with the increase of finishing agent concentration;The finishing effect of HDI-WPU were better than that of TDI-WPU.The finishing effect of cation-WPU is better than that of anion-WPU;and good finishing effect could be obtained under low mass concentration.The finishing effect of PPG-WPU was better than PBA-WPU.
