Comprehensive evaluation on the development of China's gateway central cities

This article firstly discusses the content and features of gateway central cities.Then it chooses several indicators and constructs evaluation index system to investigate the competitiveness of 19 gateway central cities in China.It quantifies the gateway cities' ability of agglomerating and diffusing,developing,servicing,innovating and competing,and even sorts the 19 gateway cities according to their abilities.In the end,it puts forward suggestions on how to improve further the comprehensive competitiveness of China's gateway central cities.
