Reflection Properties of Glass Micro-Bead

The characteristics and principles of retro reflection micro bead were discussed theoretically.Micro beads with different diffractive index were prepared suing the spreading bead attachment and mixing bead methods,respectively.The retro reflection properties of these micro beads were analyzed using spectroscopy,and the quantitative results are:the closer of refractive index of glass micro bead to 1 93,the better effect of retro reflection because the position of focusing point is near the inner surface of the bead;the spreading bead method is easier to operate than the mixing bead method.It gives samples with better reflecting effect as well.
