Over the past several decades, the development of iron-catalyzed reactions has exemplified the ingenuity and innovation within the organic chemistry community, and iron catalysis has become a cornerstone in modern organic synthesis, revolutionizing the way chemists construct complex molecules. This chapter introduces the advancements in iron-catalyzed radical asymmetric reactions. Transition-metal-mediated oxidative coupling reactions represent one of the most straightforward and powerful tools in modern organic synthetic chemistry. The C—N bond is one of the most common chemical bonds found in both natural and synthetic molecules. Numerous naturally occurring organic compounds, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and functional materials include at least one nitrogen atom, highlighting the widespread importance of this bond in various fields.
