摘要
The Michelson interferometer with conjugate vortex beams has been modified for the precise detection of nanoscale displacements. In this system, linear mechanical displacements in one of the interferometer arms are converted into rotational motion of flower-like interference patterns. The rotation angle relative to the displacement is determined by the topological charge of vortex beams. By employing fitting with noise reduction and ergodic variance methods, as well as linear calibration based on the displacement motor, an average relative error of less than 0.238% was achieved for small displacements of 180 nm. Furthermore, this modified interferometer allows for monitoring object motion states and obtaining velocity changes by observing petal rotations, thereby enhancing its versatility and practical applicability.
