Fuel Gauge Volumetric Measurement And Calibration For Aviation And Watercraft

Checking the quantity of fuel in a fuel tank and refilling the fuel tank are important considerations during air travel. The work in this paper helps to provide real-time alerts to the pilot regarding the quantity of fuel and the status of the fuel tank using sensors. The fuel tank system developed consists of two parts. The main tank and auxiliary tank. When the fuel in the main tank reaches a minimal level the tank is refilled automatically from the fuel in the auxiliary tank with the help of an ARM microcontroller. When there arises a problem in the module it becomes difficult to find errors in a particular tank or sensor, but this problem can be easily determined in the current scenario of the module because it will display an error message for a particular tank or sensor.
