Metal-free reductive acyldifluoroalkylation of alkenes through cooperative NHC and organophotocatalysis

We introduce a reductive acyldifluoroalkylation method to synthesize β-difluoroalkyl ketones, which proceeds in a metal-free manner at room temperature.
