USING THE RESULTS OF PUBLIC CONSULTATIONS IN THE DESIGN OF AN URBAN PUBLIC SPACE – THE CASE STUDY OF WARSAW

The goal of the work is the presentation of a method of design whose effect is an architectural and urban concept that creatively utilises the results of public consultations.The analysis includes a case study with particular emphasis on trailing the train of thought used during the analysis and conceptual work.The work argues that a public consultations report can be a significant source of knowledge and a valuable inspiration for the designers of public spaces and the urban landscape.The concept that has been presented shows a model of an innovative approach to public participation, understood as involvement in design, as well as participation in the creation and transformation of one's own place.
