Diagnosis of Achilles’ Tendon Rupture during a Virtual Examination

A 54-year-old man presented for a remote assessment with pain in his left lower leg after feeling a tearing sensation while playing tennis. During the assessment, the result of the Matles test was positive, a finding suggestive of a rupture of the Achilles’ tendon.
