Joint Attention

Abstract Extends the approach to the case of joint attention and common knowledge. We need the notion of joint attention to explain the possibility of success in tasks such as coordinated attack. I discuss the role of consciousness in joint attention, arguing that we need a relational view of joint attention, and look at the relation of joint attention to knowledge of other minds.
