Study on the Composition of the Pigments in the Nature Colored Cotton

The pigment in nature colored cotton fibers was extracted by solvent. The test of the color reaction and the spectral analysis of pigment extraction in nature colored cotton were carried out. The results show that the pigment extracted from natural colored cotton belongs to flavonoids with two adjacent hydroxide groups in B ring.
