摘要
In this work, a modified model for evaluating the motion behaviour of inclusions at the moulten steel–slag interface was firstly established by adding Basset force. Based on the similarity theory, a water model was carried out to validate the accuracy of the modified model. Subsequently, the effects of the interface tension between steel and slag, the inclusion wettability, the inclusion diameter and slag viscosity on the motion behaviour of inclusions at the interface were quantitatively investigated. The results show that the inclusion wettability and the slag viscosity have significant influences on the motion behaviour of inclusions. Based on that, the present study calculated the favourable range of inclusion wettability and slag viscosity for inclusions passing through the interface. Moreover, the tendency for common harmful inclusions passing through the interface was compared.
