Mathematical Modelling and Analysis of Adaptive Traction Control for Electric Vehicles

摘要
This paper represents an efficient traction control method for electric vehicles, which is achieved by mapping the estimated mechanical torque demand of the wheels with respect to the electrical torque provided by the drive train motor. This is done in two ways. Firstly, a mathematical model has been developed to analyze the required traction force of the vehicle depending on various road parameters. Secondly, simulations have been performed to obtain the optimum value of traction that the vehicle requires to maintain proper stability and traction on the ground.
