This work focuses on organization, the role of structure in the organization and the meaning of contemporary trends in shaping the organization. To make the organization achieve it's ultimate goal she should have a structure that defines tasks and determines their achievement, all in order to achieve optimal result. The organization as a unit can not achieve it's purpose without people, or related group of people who interact with each other. Therefore it can be said that the organizational structure is the foundation of every good organization. Every structure is changeable how the elements of the organization are changing under the influence of external or internal factors, so each organization has its own unique structure. Through the organizational structure, the organization achieves tasks, goals and optimal result. Without it, the organization as a unit fell apart. This work gives a note of how the companies today increasingly rely on the contemporary trend in shaping organization. This is a trend that represents a new approach to the organization and which under the influence of globalization helps companies successfully meet the challenges of the contemporary business.
