摘要
A nickel\nhydride-catalyzed regio- and enantioselective hydroalkylation\nreaction was developed to give access to a library of chiral β-\nor γ-branched aromatic N-heterocycles. This intriguing asymmetric\ntransformation features excellent selectivities, step- and atom-economies,\nand generating two kinds of chiral products through one synthetic\nstrategy. Furthermore, the possible reaction mechanism was extensively\ninvestigated using numerous control experiments and density functional\ntheory calculations.
