New progress in diagnosis and treatment of community-acquired pneumonia

In recent years, the morbidity and mortality of community-acquired pneumonia have increased gradually, with more severe cases.However, in clinical diagnosis and treatment, there are some phenomena such as unclear etiology diagnosis, insufficient understanding of the significance of serological detection, inaccurate severity evaluation and unreasonable use of antibiotics.This paper refers to a large number of the latest literatures on community-acquired pneumonia published at home and abroad in recent years, and reviews in serology, etiology, rational use of antibiotics, whether glucocorticoids should be used, adjuvant therapy and the latest advances of diagnosis and treatment.
