Application of 0.1% bromfenac sodium eye drops in the treatment of Moderate and severe dry eye

Objective To study the clinical efficacy of 0.1% bromfenac sodium eye drops in the treatment of moderate and severe dry eye. Methods A total of 40 cases of moderate and severe dry eye were randomly divided into 2 groups, 20 cases in each group, the control group of 20 cases using 0.1% Sodium Hyaluronate eye Drops and 0.1% Fluorometholone eye Drops, the test group of 20 cases were applied 0.1% Sodium Hyaluronate eye Drops and 0.1% bromfenac sodium eye Drops. Ocular surface staining, tear test, Schimmer Ι, corneal confocal microscope observation of dendritic cell density was examined before treatment and after 2 weeks of treatment. Results There was no significant difference in the test group and the control group of ocular surface staining, tear test, tear secretion test, corneal dendritic cell density before treatment and after 2 weeks of treatment (P >0.05), the test group before and after treatment of ocular surface staining, tear test, Schimmer Ι, corneal dendritic cell density was significantly improved, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusions 0.1% bromfenac sodium eye Drops can be a certain degree of substitution of glucocorticoid in the treatment of moderate and severe dry eye.
