摘要
Objective
To investigate the physical characteristics and present status of naval aviators through analysis of their body composition, so as to put forward corresponding health care suggestions and prevent sub-health among naval aviators.
Methods
Sixty six naval aviators and 72 ground service personnel with different age stages were randomly selected as the study group and the control group. The body compositions were analyzed by using a body composition analyzer, and differences in body. compositions were analyzed statistically.
Results
The body mass, body mass index, fat content and body fat percentage of the study group aged between 30 and 39 years were (78.36±7.14) kg, 26.12±4.31, (15.87±4.13) kg and (22.61±5.04)%, respectively, while the body mass, body mass index, fat content and body fat percentage of the control group at the same year stage were respectively (73.17±6.08) kg, 25.07±4.34, (12.69±5.26) kg, (21.31±5.16) %, and the indexes of those aged between 40 and 49 years were respectively (80.45±6.15) kg, 27.61±6.23, (16.23±4.38) kg and (23.71±4.23)%. The indexes of the control group at the same year stage were respectively(75.26±5.23)kg, 26.31±6.23, (15.46±4.72) kg, (22.01±3.28)%. The above indexes of the study group were all significantly higher than those of the control group(P 0.05).
Conclusion
At present, the body mass index and fat content of the naval aviators presented an upward trend, to which special emphasis must be paid and various measures should be taken to reverse their unhealthy diet and lifestyle, in order that physical quality of naval aviators could be improved.
