On Features & Realization of Devices Based on Optical Phased-array

In this paper,the developmental background and operating principle of technique of optical phased-array is introduced;the mechanical problems of the beam scanning and the function superiority optical phased-array are discussed;the characteristics of optical phased-array are verified with simulation software and experiments;the features of non-beam deflection under the wide instant bandwidth with the real time-delay of lights are testified;and also,the diagrams of interference distribution of one-and two-dimensional phased-array far fields are provided;however,because of errors in making optical fiber array structure,it is difficult to carry out the accordace of the unequal spacing theory with the reality of optical phased-array.Above all,this paper provides some experimental basis for further study and application of this technique of optical phased-array.
