Paris Urban Landscape of the 19~(th)Century

In the second half of the 19th century,Paris carried out the transformation of urban space;meanwhile,it was the construction of public gardens and buildings that completely rewrote the Paris urban environment.It was during this period that Paris urban landscape's design began with the improvement of the environment and to explore its practical significance.This paper analyses the cause for the urban parks and public gardens and discusses its four types and the characteristics.The summary and conclusion with guidance are given by linking with the development status of China's urban landscape.
