Selfhood and Personality in Culture

Psychological studies have long been exclusive of cultural influence.Culture enters psychology,first of all,with personality as a starting point.Personality,presumed as a constant entity,exists in culture as an object.It cannot fully explain the relationship between culture and man.Selfhood,on the other hand,exists in a passive and open fashion.Interactive with culture,it exists in culture as a subject and reveals,in essence,the relationship between culture and man.
