The scavenging actions of the Auricularia auricula and tea flavonoid compounds to two different free radical systems were studied.The compounds showed that the obvious scavenging actions to hydroxyl free radical(OH·) generated by fenton reaction and to superoxide anion(O2-·)generated by a pyrogallol autoxidation system.With the increasing of flavonoid contents,the scavenging actions increased.The scavenge actions of compounds were obviously stronger than anti-oxidative activity of single flavonoid in the same content.It was concluded that the two different kinds of flavonoid compounds could enhance the scavenging actions to free radicals.
