Bio-Concentration of MCPA and MCPA-IsooctylEster in Brachydonio rerio

[Aims]The aims were to study the bio-concentration of MCPA and MCPA-isooctyl ester in aquatic organisms.[Methods]The detection methods of MCPA and MCPA-isooctyl ester residues in water and fish were established,the bio-concentration of MCPA and MCPA isooctyl ester in Brachydonio rerio was studied by static and semi-static method.[Results]The bio-concentration factors(BCF,8 d) of MCPA and MCPA-isooctyl ester in B.rerio were 1.61-1.82 and 16.3-22.3,respectively.[Conclusions]According to Test Guidelines on Environmental Safety Assessment for Chemical Pesticides,MCPA was classified as low bio-concentration pesticide,MCPA-isooctyl ester was classified as medium bio-concentration pesticide.
