A Study on the Spread Mechanism of Microblog Rumors and Rumor-refuting Information Based on Competition Model

Microblog(Weibo) has become an important source of public information in China.In the occurrence of public emergencies,rumors spread quickly through the Microblog(Weibo) and bring out damages to the network public opinions.This paper,based on the study of microblog public-opinion ecology,regards rumors and rumor-refuting information as a dynamic competition process,builds up a Lotka-Volterra Competition Model for the spread mechanism of rumors and rumor-refuting information,and conducts the numerical modeling and simulation analysis from the two aspects of stability condition and parameter settings.At last,through case analysis this paper is proved significant in eliminating rumors and guiding the microblog public opinions.
